Research at Department of Chemistry focuses mainly on the physical chemistry of surfaces. We study phenomena at the interface of solid and liquid phases, solid and gaseous phases, respectively. Adsorption as our primary research topic is investigated both from the theoretical and practical point of view, especially with paying attention to application. Read more
Tomáš Zelenka visited Universite de Haute Alsace in Mulhouse (France) from 20 to 24 May 2019. The aim of the Erasmus + teaching program was to give local students a series of lectures focused on the Characterization of porous materials.
Tomáš Zelenka, Gabriela Hotová, Roman Maršálek, and Alžběta Parchaňská visited IS2M (Université Haute-Alsace, Mulhouse, France) from 10 to 14 March 2019. Scientific as well as the social program was perfect – a short visit to Basel city and museums in Mulhouse was great!
