From 11 to 15 September 2017, Starý Smokovec in the High Tatras became the place with the largest concentration of chemists in Slovakia. Department of Chemistry of Faculty of Science of University of Ostrava contributed three molecules to the solution of chemists. The Chemical Congress at Grand Hotel Bellevue was attended by Jana Prášilová, Lenka Bláhová and Karolína Křenková.

V. Slovák visited the University of Granada
The short visit (September 5 – 8) of V. Slovák was focused on further cooperation in the field of carbonaceous materials and on possible Erasmus+ exchange program.
