Václav Slovák, Tomáš Zelenka and Gabriela Hotová took part in the 1st International Conference on Energy, Materials and Nanotechnology (EMN) focused on the porous materials in Dubrovnik (Croatia).

On October 10, 2019 Václav Slovák, Arjeta Kryeziu, Gabriela Hotová and Bára Komárková participated at the 3rd Thermoanalytical seminar (TAS) at the FCH VUT in Brno.

Between June 3 and August 2, 2019, student Jakub Vytisk attended a practical traineeship at the University of Porto in Portugal.

Vaclav Slovak, Gabriela Hotova, Arjeta Kryeziu, Bara Komarkova took part on the 5th Central and Eastern European Conference on Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry (CEEC-TAC5) and 14th Mediterranean Conference on Calorimetry and Thermal Analysis (Medicta2019) from 27 – 30 August 2019.

Roman Marsalek and Arianit Gashi participated in 3rd International Conference on Applied Surface Science on 17-20th June 2019 in Pisa, Italy.

Tomáš Zelenka visited Universite de Haute Alsace in Mulhouse (France) from 20 to 24 May 2019. The aim of the Erasmus + teaching program was to give local students a series of lectures focused on the Characterization of porous materials.

Tomáš Zelenka, Gabriela Hotová, Roman Maršálek, and Alžběta Parchaňská visited IS2M (Université Haute-Alsace, Mulhouse, France) from 10 to 14 March 2019. Scientific as well as the social program was perfect – a short visit to Basel city and museums in Mulhouse was great!

Václav Slovák, Tomáš Zelenka and Gabriela Hotová visited Kemicentrum (University of Lund in Sweden) from 18 to 20 June 2019.
